Please enjoy these then-and-now images of downtown Bay Shore.  The older and historic photos and historical information come courtesy of Harry A. Antario of Bay Shore.

The modern day photos were taken by us. More installments to come.

The First National Bank of Bay Shore was for a time located at West Main Street and Ocean Avenue. The bank held its grand opening in 1911. It later moved across the street to the present day Drew Patrick Spa.

The corner was also the longtime site of Sunset Drugs, from 1950 to 2000. This photo was taken in 1981.

This photo of the Bagel Cafe was shot in March 2017. Notice how over the years the Model T turned into a station wagon and then a mini van. The original bank safe is a refrigerator today.
