Nearly 500 people showed up to the 24th Annual Holiday House Tour in Islip Hamlet earlier this month.

The popular tour is run by the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet. Scroll down for photos.

From the Historical Society:

The houses included a Dutch Colonial, built around 1933, on land formerly owned by John H. Vail; a 1927 Andrew Karl Wolpert Cape Cod-style home; a home built in 1975 on property once owned by the Bayberry Beach and Tennis Club; the former home of Captain Hank Haff (America’s Cup Hall of Fame) built around 1870; and a vintage Dutch Colonial built in 1929.

The reception this year was held at Trinity Lutheran Church.
