Take a trip to New Orleans without having to leave Bay Shore.
That’s the vibe of the new cajun-themed Big Daddy’s East at 44-46 Main Street, which is hosting a soft opening on Thursday.
The Big Easy-inspired restaurant even boasts a huge video screen that shows a live feed of Bourbon Street above its bar. The hype for the new restaurant has been incredible, says management. Tickets for the soft opening are already sold out.
“We’re excited to open in Bay Shore,” said manager Frank Poulin. “This is a great spot in town.”
This will be the company’s second restaurant, the other being in Massapequa under the original name Big Daddy’s.
“The food is going to be phenomenal here,” said Poulin. “We’re taking the classic New Orleans cuisine staples and elevating them. It is going to be a fun, classy, and enjoyable place.”
Big Daddy’s East is planning to fully open to the public sometime next week.
