How does a $50 gift card to nearly every restaurant in downtown Bay Shore sound to you?

That’s at least $1,000 in free food.

And it’s real.

The Bay Shore Restaurant Committee will be giving away a stack of $50 gift cards and gift certificates for the third-ever “30 Days of Dining in Bay Shore” raffle contest.

“The winner gets to eat at a variety of restaurants — from your local Irish pub, to your high-end seafood, to your farm to table,” said committee member Mike McElwee “And you’ll be able to get a quick bite at Bango Bowls or just a cup of coffee at Bay Shore Bean on us.”

The winner will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. at Pinot’s Palette, located 61 West Main Street. The proceeds will help fund the Alive by the Bay summer street festival series, which is also run by the committee.

Over 20 restaurants are participating in the contest (full list below), which is now in its second year. For this installment of the contest, the raffle tickets will be $10 and are now available at the restaurants in and around the downtown.

Below is the list. Keep scrolling to see all the restaurants. Pinot’s Palette and the YMCA Boulton Center for Performing Arts will also be adding gift cards.
