The 2019 Great South Bay Seafest is set for Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Bay Shore Marina.
The Town of the Islip’s third annual event will begin at 11 a.m. and run through 6 p.m. at the marina on South Clinton Avenue.
The day’s family-fun festivities include food and craft vendors, live music, pony rides, a petting zoo and children’s games and activities.
An educational component will also be featured at the fest — with fly fishing demos and the Long Island Aquarium Shark Truck.
The admission, parking, and shuttle bus to the event are all free. Click here to see the shuttle map.
Great South Bay Run
The Bay Shore Marina will also be used that day as the start and finish for the annual Northwell Health Great South Bay Run. The festival opens as the first runners start crossing the finish line.
