Downtown Bay Shore’s streets were filled with the likes of super heroes, princesses, witches, and zombies Saturday for the annual Haunted Halloween Festival.

The festivities began with a 4:30 p.m. parade on Main Street followed by trunk or treating, a children’s costume competition, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and other family activities at the band shell.
