A group of special education students are doing their part for families and shoppers in Bay Shore to make the holidays a bit more meaningful.

The students with the school’s World of Work program have opened a pop-up Holiday Shoppe in the historic Second Avenue Firehouse art gallery space on Second Avenue.

The Holiday Shoppe is sponsored by the Bay Shore Schools Arts Education Fund, with 100 percent of proceeds going to benefit Bay Shore’s special education students.

The Shoppe is now open, from Monday, Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 13, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., and then again on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 to 2 p.m. Scroll down for a Second Avenue Firehouse map.
