One of Long Island’s largest St. Patrick’s parades returns to downtown Bay Shore on Saturday, March 14.

The Bay Shore Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 2 p.m. at Saxon Avenue to the east and ends at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church to the west.

It marches along Main Street rain or shine; there is no rain date.

This year’s grand marshal is Timothy Mooney, the president of Fire Island Ferries.

Parade Dinner Dance

You can celebrate the “sashing” of this year’s Grand Marshal on Saturday, March 7, from 7 to 10 p.m., at Captain Bill’s in Bay Shore. Tickets are $75 per person, and include an open bar and 3 hour buffet.
