Here’s another reason to look forward to the weekend.
Bay Shore’s new wine bar Fire Island Vines is hosting a grand opening this Friday and Saturday (noon to 11 p.m.) and Sunday (noon to 6 p.m.). On Saturday and Sunday, there will be live musical performances.
As previously reported, West Islip’s Angelo Crisci is opening Fire Island Vines at 17 East Main Street with his wife Tessie, and daughters, Paulina and Angelia.
While the focus will be on wines, the place will also be serving up beer and cider from 14 tap lines — all from local vendors.
The space is 2,400 square feet in size and can hold up to 75 people.
Earlier this month, some locals had a chance to try the wine bar as the Crisci family held a couple of soft openings last month.
“We received compliments on the decor and chill atmosphere,” Angelo told GreaterBayShore.
Angelo also said people enjoyed the small plate menu.
