Three Bay Shore restaurants have found such success with their virtual bar crawls during quarantine, they just announced they’ll be doing it every Saturday until their doors open again.
“People love it,” said Anthony Tartaglia, who owns Verde Kitchen & Cocktails and Coastal Kitchen & Daiquiri Bar with his brother, Andrew. The Tartaglia brothers teamed up with their Tap Room friends on the crawls, the third of which happens this Saturday.
Click here for this Saturday’s menu and tickets, which run from $35 for pickup or $40 for delivery. You can then search Bay Shore Virtual Bar Crawl on that site, universe.com, each week for updates.
There’s also a live music over Facebook Live component to each crawl, typically with performers playing from 1-3 p.m and 3 to 5 p.m.
“It’s a way for us to keep people employed and help keep the musicians working while helping our customers’ lives be fairly normalized right now and cabin fever,” Tartaglia previously told GreaterBayShore.
Delivery spots must be within three miles of Bay Shore’s Main Street, or you can pick up your bags of food and drink at The Tap Room.
The deliveries and pickup times are 1 to 5 p.m. To keep up to date, you can visit the Verde, Coastal or Bay Shore Tap Room feeds on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.
